Archive news

The plan will be launched with the advent of democratic changes in Belarus. The reforms will create the conditions for economic growth, economic sustainability, and job creation. The announced funding becomes the first publicly announced contribution of the international community to the building of New Belarus.

A letter on the launch of the Economic Plan was sent to Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Siarhey Dylevski, Volha Kavalkova, Pavel Latushka and Valery Tsepkalo by Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.

According to the estimates of the Office of Svetlana Tikhanovska, the full amount of international financing — including the EU plan, the IMF stabilization program, assistance from the World Bank and others — will amount to about USD 10 billions for the first 3 years of the new Belarus.

For more details on the plan, see Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s channel.
