Pavel Latushka, a representative of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus, held meetings with the new heads and diplomats of the political sections of the U.S. embassies in Vilnius and Warsaw.
The main issues discussed during the meetings were:
Lukashenko's role in the war against Ukraine;
the dictator's dependence on the Kremlin;
international criminal liability of Lukashenko and his accomplices for repression and aiding and abetting war crimes;
the priorities of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus.
Pavel Latushka emphasized during the meetings that any negotiations with the regime can only be held with the participation of the democratic forces of Belarus, which stand up for the key demands of the Belarusian people:
withdrawal of Russian troops;
cessation of repressions;
release of all political prisoners;
holding new elections.
