The United Nations asks to send information to the Secretariat of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on violations committed in Belarus since May 1, 2020.

The organization has prepared a special appeal template. Send information to the UN at

Why is it important?

Earlier, the UN has already provided information on violations collected by human rights organizations and other initiatives. This information was used in the preparation of reports and resolutions on the situation in Belarus. But now the UN has begun a personal gathering to launch special procedures, including within the framework of the International Court of Justice. This requires individual appeals from victims.

Therefore, it is so important for each victim to personally inform the UN about all cases of human rights violations in Belarus.

The UN accepts information until November 15, 2021.

— In Belarus there are no police, investigative bodies, there is no longer a justice system, there is no longer an independent judicial system. But the country has an organized state system of repression. The torture does not stop, there are more and more political prisoners, — said Mikhail Kirilyuk, who is responsible for justice issues at the NAM, during the session of the 47th UN Human Rights Council.

Crimes in our country continue. It is our responsibility to stop them.
