Anatoly Kotov about the resolution of the Belarusian crisis

Archive news

At a press conference of the National Anti-Crisis Management, Anatoly Kotov, responsible for foreign policy and trade, presented a plan for approaching the “day of departure of the plane” and the transition period. He also stated that the NAM offers the EU and Russia to develop a stabilisation plan for Belarus:

- The NAM does not plan to make a geopolitical choice at this stage, we do not plan to turn the country to the East or West. The Belarusian society is able to decide for itself what course to take during and after the new presidential elections. Another task of the NAM in the near future is to develop a stabilisation plan for Belarus with the participation of Russia and the European Union. We believe that it is time for Russia to play a more active role in resolving the crisis in accordance with the needs of the Belarusian people.
